It was 2008 and I was 18. That’s my blue 1983 Datsun 280ZX followed by a B or a Midget.

No joke, he had to leave early because it was getting dark and his headlights were getting weird on him.

I remember mine, it was a RT66 Cruise in IL up north to a small RT66 museum in Litchfield IL I was following a 1971 Mach 1 and some other epic cars in my Gran Torino. Made good friends with the owner of it but lost touch with him a while ago.

Canada looks nice. I need to renew my passport.

You should! This was backcountry Alberta near Kananaskis.

The lack of relays on the headlight circuit is a big swing and miss on British cars. It’s an upgrade we recommend.

My grandparents live part time in Quebec (Magog, nice small town). I might visit them this summer. I’d also like to do an Alaska Road Trip someday.

No relays? Spooky.

Most of the issues with British (and other classic cars) wiring are due to ground issues and switches going bad due to lack of relays. Horn and flasher/turn signal relays were all you got.

Hmmm, makes sense. I’ve never owned a British car. Is that an old Spitfire in your profile pic?

I’ve got a Series IIA Rover. Not a single damn relay on the car. I’ve also got a ‘63 Ranchero, which while it doesn’t use a headlight relay, it does have a fuse built into a very heavy switch. Point goes to Ford.

Yeah, hard where I live. Any car shows are only in the local trade paper cause old people don’t do the internet, only 2 Oppos here I know of, 1 I have met and the other is hardly on Oppo. Plus my classic car as you know is in pieces in my storage. And the 928 doesn’t run yet.
